PROJECT
TRACK HOME REBEL
The title says it all—our clients hired us to elevate their track home, and we focused on transforming the kitchen and primary bathroom. We gutted both spaces, starting with a clean slate. The goal was to create a circular flow around the main floor, allowing the kids to move freely between rooms. To achieve this, we removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room and added beams to give the space a timeless, "old soul" vibe.
For the kitchen, we introduced new inset cabinetry to create an old-world finish. We maximized storage by focusing cabinetry on the parallel wall, both sides of the island, and both sides of the peninsula, lightening the load on the sink wall. Trust us, storage was never a concern in this design! To finish it off, we selected heavy-veined countertops and added a waterfall edge to the high-traffic areas, giving the kitchen both sophistication and an edgy appeal.
For the primary bathroom, our clients wanted a space that felt moody, traditional, with just a hint of edge. We embraced dark tones with a dramatic veining in the enclosed shower. To enhance the space, we added wall molding with mirror insets above the vanity, allowing natural light to reflect and brighten the room. It’s a classic look with a modern twist.
